Who we are

Welcome to Studio Megaton! We are a creative studio that is driven by our love for nature and our desire to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind works of art. At Studio Megaton, we allow our passions and inspirations to guide us as we craft oversized fossils and objects d'art that are inspired by the world around us. Each one a unique and poetic expression of the natural world.

For a couple of years, the lights have not been turned off at the end of working hours in the 10 Tons workshop. After finishing the day's job of painting a dinosaur or casting a deep sea jellyfish, it is time for a break from strict science and celebrating the beauty of biological architecture combined with imagination. Our team has a wealth of experience, having worked for 25 years at 10 Tons, a highly respected studio that has created accurate zoological models and paleontological reconstructions for natural history museums worldwide.

In Studio Megaton, we use our vast knowledge of materials and techniques to make objects from our mythical twin planet Counter Earth. At first glance they look familiar, but upon closer inspection, reveal something unexpected and unique.
